Who can see what
Only vendors with an account can search the registry or open a report. Accounts are by invite. Checkout tools get a verdict, a score and links to the matching reports. They never get the stored customer details.
What we keep
Reports hold what the filing vendor entered: name, contact details, addresses, an IP if they had one, and what happened. When a store checks a customer, we log the time, the verdict and which reports matched. We don’t keep the customer details that were checked.
Rules for filing
- Report only what happened with your own store, and only what your order records back up.
- Stick to facts: the order, the claim, the outcome. No insults and no guesses about who someone is.
- Fix or withdraw a report if you learn it was wrong, for example a package that turned up or a chargeback you won.
- Don’t use the registry for anything except deciding whether to sell to someone.
We suspend accounts that file false or abusive reports.
If you’re listed
Use the review form. While we look into it, the report shows as disputed. Reports that don’t hold up are removed.
